Character Design - J.Bling

Up and coming Los Angeles Rapper J. Bling hired us to create a character design based on his likeness. He gave us general directions as to what he wanted the character to look and not look like. After a few rough sketches, with changes to his face and clothing, this is the final outcome. This was definitely a very fun project for us.

You can check out J.Bling's music at http://www.myspace.com/draftpickhits

Lakers Headsleeve

We were approached by the owner of Headsleeve.com to come up with a new design for his line of Lakers Headsleeves. This is a brand new sports product which is currently being launched. He wanted us to come up with something "Urban" and unique, which we believe is one of our specialties. We call this our "Lowrider" Lakers Headsleeve.

MEChA - Channel Islands High School

It's that time of the year again. Channel Islands High School MEChA asked us to run their 2010 club hoodies. There were only a couple of major changes to this year's design from last year's. First, they asked us to print on black sweaters, and second, they wanted to incorporate the center of the Aztec Calendar in the design. We think the color scheme worked really well on the black material. We're happy they felt the same .

Promotional Dollars - SCI Hispana California

SCI Hispana California is an umbrella company that owns and operates various businesses, including Jardines y Funerarias Del Angel. They approached us about creating a promotional dollar for their prospective clients. They wanted us to take their existing logo and create a $200 bill that they could distribute as a coupon of sorts. If a customer brings the dollar in and purchases a plan, the dollar is good for a $200 credit towards their plan. Here is our design.

Senior Polos - Animo Ralph Bunche High School

For this year's graduating Seniors, the administration at ARB High School decided to purchase polos. They felt it would be a great way to recognize their efforts as well as show school pride.

We were asked to take the sketch that was drawn by one of the seniors and base the polo design around this sketch. Here is the final design. We are glad to say that they were very happy with the final outcome and so were we.

Real World Projects - Logo & Stationary Design

Real World Projects is a new company that approached us about designing their Logo. The client was very specific in that the look of the logo had to reflect their Business Motto, "Harnessing the Power of Nature."

This turned out to be a perfect example of why we love working closely with our clients. In this case we had a few sessions where we tossed around ideas, researched, and I can honestly say, together came up with the final design. It was definitely a collaborative effort.

We just finished running the first set of business cards and are also working on their stationary design.

Conquistador Apparel

We are fortunate enough to be working with a new clothing line called Conquistador Apparel. They have given us the opportunity to collaborate with them on ideas for the design of their company emblem and first run of shirts.

We are still in the working stages of the first run but here is a draft of what they will look like. This is a plain white T but it includes direct to garment printing and gold foil. The final outcome will be on different colored shirts, as well as higher end material. As soon as those are finished we will post them up. We are also currently working on the second design for the next run of shirts.

Santa Clara High School - Senior Sweaters

These are hot off the press, literally. We just delivered Santa Clara High School's Senior Sweaters. There's not much to say about these other than the fact that the school asked for a simple and clean design. It was a pleasure working with them.

Hueneme High School - MEChA Design

One of the Projects we are currently working on is a design for the MEChA Club of Hueneme High School. Being that we designed and printed their sweater last year, they asked us to come up with a new design for this year.

Ms. Murillo, the MEChA advisor, stopped by our office with a few books on Diego Rivera's art, as well as other imagery that we could possible gather inspiration from. So far we have submitted a couple of variations (still rough sketches) and it looks like the design that incorporates the hands is the winner. We will be posting the final design, in full color, and sweater as soon as they are finished.

Golden State Foods

Golden State Foods, Located in the City of Industry, is one of the largest distributors of food supplies to the foodservice industry, including McDonald's. We were extremely grateful that they gave us the opportunity to provide them with our services.

The Company wanted to present their Executive Board with a unique Thank You gift at this month's board meeting. We were given the task to provide just that. We presented them with Martini Tote Leather Bags with the company logo screen printed on the front of the bag. They were very appreciative.

ARB Staff Shirt

Today we delivered a run of shirts that we made for the Staff and Students of Animo Ralph Bunche Charter High School. They pretty much gave us free range as far as design went. The only requirements were that the design incorporated their motto and "I am a true Stallion". Here is the final outcome.

Program Board - USC

We were very happy when The University of Southern California's Program Board (USC happens to be my Alma Mater) asked us to print sweaters and shirts for them. They were very specific in that they wanted the items to be printed on American Apparel. We were of course happy to oblige.

The design was created by a Program Board Student.

Animo Ralph Bunche Charter High School

We are currently working on a 3rd run of sweaters and shirts for Animo Ralph Bunche Charter High School in Los Angeles. They asked us to get creative with their acronym (ARB) and design something the kids would be happy to wear. We went for a collegiate representation of the letters (the ARB intertwined) as well as incorporated their existing logo. We have definitely gotten a great response.

Office of Exposition Park Management

We were recently hired by the Office of Exposition Park Management in Los Angeles to design a new business card for each of their Department Managers. The printed cards were to incorporate gold foil. Here is what we came up with. They were very happy with the outcome and have asked us to redesign and print their stationary items. http://www.expositionpark.org/

The Studio

We feel extremely privileged to get to work in such a beautiful location. Since we are located in Oxnard's Historic Heritage Square, there are always events happening here, as well as tours and a great view. Stop on by to see for yourself.
